Yogadotcalm's Teacher Training is a comprehensive program, offered over 9 months, in a small group setting, that will give you the skills and aptitude to teach yoga successfully and deepen your understanding and knowledge of this ancient practice. This well rounded training, is designed to inspire and empower, to develop skills that will enable you to share yoga in an authentic and accessible way.

- Western Anatomy and Physiology
- Eastern Anatomy
- Study and practice of the Ashtanga Primary Series
- Study and practice of Vinyasa Yoga
- Developing and Maintaining a Personal Practice
- Class Planning and Sequencing
- Business of Yoga and Ethics
- Yoga Philosophy
- Adjustments and Assists
Students are required to have a minimum one year experience of dedicated yoga practice, and have knowledge and interest in the Ashtanga system and practice.
Dates & Times
This training will be held one weekend per month, with a corresponding week of early morning Mysore style (self-led, teacher assisted) practice. The final weekend in June will be a two night retreat at Cross River Wilderness Centre in BC.

- Fridays - 6:00-9:00pm
- Saturdays - 12:00-6:00pm
- Sundays - 9:30-11:30am and 12:30-4:30pm
- Mysore - Monday to Friday 5:30-8:00am
Please be aware that there is a substantial time commitment required for this training. This is not to be underestimated, as there will be homework, daily practice, assignments, class assisting, and reading, which goes well beyond the scope of the dates and times listed above.
$3100 ($2850 Early bird if registered and paid in full before September 1, 2016.)
A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $500 (plus gst) is due upon acceptance into the training.

Course fee includes: tuition, manual, 8 Month Unlimited Membership at Yogadotcalm, and 3 day 2 night retreat with meals at Cross River.

Lead facilitator, Andrea Salamon, E-RYT200, is the Owner and Director of Yogadotcalm. Andrea has more than a decade of yoga experience, as a teacher and practitioner. She has a depth of experience and training in the Ashtanga and Vinyasa systems. Her yoga practice has taken her across the globe in her quest for continuous learning and exploration.
Co-facilitator, Paul Larmer, E-RYT200, is an Energy Professional with a degree in Physical Education and a diploma in massage therapy. He has spent much of his life understanding human development and has come to a wholistic understanding of the energy flows within the human body, which he applies to his vast experience within the yoga tradition.
Co-facilitator and Yogadotcalm founder, Ian Buchanan, has been practicing, teaching and training teachers for over 15 years. His immense passion for the philosophy of yoga is endless and he has great skill in making this philosophy accessible in contemporary times.
Co-facilitator, Emily Kotow, has been a dedicated Ashtanga practitioner and teacher for 10 years. She holds a B.A. Hons in Religious Studies, which focused on Eastern Traditions and Metaphysics. She continues to combine her passion for yoga and academia, and is presently completing an M.A. in Religious Philosophy.
Training will be held at Yogadotcalm and at a home studio in SW Calgary.
